WHY DID YOU START CROSSFITTING OR FITNESSING?

I started doing CrossFit briefly in 2016 and stopped due to personal schedule constraint. I started again in 2018, when I realized I wanted to prioritize my fitness, but I needed help with motivation and accountability. Once I understood what a great and supportive community this gym provided for me, it made it very easy to make it part of my life.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING OUT AND WHY DO YOU CONTINUE?

I love how I feel after challenging workouts (which most of them are) and strength gains I’ve made since I started. I continue because of the camaraderie amongst the people I workout with.

HOW HAS YOUR FITNESS OR YOUR ACTIVE LIVE IMPACTED YOUR LIFE BEYOND INSIDE OF THE GYM?

It has encouraged me to eat better overall, since I feel so much better during workouts when I’ve been eating healthy. I also believe I carry more confidence, both professionally and personally, based on feeling good about myself and my fitness.

IF YOU NEVER HAD TO DO ONE EXERCISE MOVEMENT AGAIN, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Single arm overhead squat. I mean, what’s the point?

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEING PART OF OUR FITFAM?

I love that everyone just accepts everyone else as part of this family. There is no judgment, just a huge support system for you, whether you’re shooting for specific fitness goals or just generally trying to stay active.
